Samsung Galaxy Note 9 gets One UI 2.1 update with June 2020 security patch
The Galaxy S9 series is expected to start receiving the One UI 2.1 update next week.

- It brings a few Galaxy S20 features such as the new Single Take mode, Quick Share, and Music Share.

Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9. The update is currently rolling out to users in Germany, but is likely to expand to other markets within the next few weeks. As per the folks at SamMobile, it arrives as version N960FXXU5ETF5 and weighs in at 1.2GB in size.
Unsurprisingly, the update does not bring all the new Galaxy S20 software features that Samsung rolled out to its 2019 flagship phones in March. It only adds Quick Share and Music Share features to the 2018 flagship phone, along with a few new camera features.
You get the Galaxy S20's Single Take Mode, AR Zone, Pro video recording, and the ability to create your own camera filters. Along with all the new One UI 2.1 features, the update also comes with the latest June 2020 Android security patch. Sadly, the Note 9 isn't getting the S20's Night Hyperlapse mode or an improved night mode with this update.
While you will receive a notification once the One UI 2.1 update becomes available for your Galaxy Note 9, you can also try looking for the update manually by heading over to Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
Samsung is expected to roll out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus next week.
